Scholarships and a trip to Tanzania for agricultural students and institutions

Fondazione SAME has awarded merit-based scholarships to deserving students of the Cantoni Agricultural Institute in Treviglio (BG). The scholarships were presented on May 16^th 2025 at the Cantoni Agricultural Institute and the initiative is planned to continue in 2026.

Fondazione SAME also enables some final-year students of the Cantoni Agricultural Institute to gain first-hand experience of projects in the Diocese of Same in Tanzania, through annual organized trips that promote cultural exchange. The contribution is not limited to covering certain expenses but also includes the organisation and support of activities carried out by the students during their stay in Africa.

The initiative was an important opportunity for students to engage directly with the Foundation’s activities in the region to introduce young people to the principles of international cooperation. Discussions are currently underway with other agricultural colleges with the aim of extending the project to new schools and involving an increasing number of students in future editions.
