Trasporto Solidale Volunteers’ Association

Trasporto Solidale Volunteers’ Association was established at the end of 2007 by 22 founding members, all experienced volunteers in the field of transport. Its services are primarly directed toward residents of the municipality of Treviglio.

Upon individual request or referral by organisations or associations, the volunteers provide the following services to people in need:

–    transport to healthcare, therapy, rehabilitation, study and work facilities;

–    accompaniment and engagement for elderly, disabled and non-self-sufficient individuals attending day centres.

In 2025 nr. 5,399 services were provided, covering a total of 130,763 km, including 5,517 solidarity trips, transporting 8,162 people.

The contribution from Fondazione SAME enabled the purchase of a Fiat Doblò Runner with a lowered floor, inaugurated in 2025.

In 2026, Fondazione SAME contributed to the purchase of a 9-seater minibus for the transport of people with disabilities, strengthening community transport services in the area.
