Diocese of Same – Agricultural Development Agency

Fondazione SAME is supporting the Diocese of Same in the establishment of an Agricultural Development Agency, based at the St. Jacobus Institute, with the aim of supporting local farming activities and improving access to resources and services for farmers.

The Agency offers:

– supply of seeds and agricultural materials

– technical assistance and training

– access to agricultural machinery and equipment

– support for product marketing

With the project’s launch, ten local farmers were selected as a pilot group, each specializing in a specific crop (corn, rice, fruits, and vegetables). The Agency’s initial activities were also launched, focusing on organizing services and providing marketing support.
