Diocese of Same – Same St. Joaquim Sports Center

Fondazione SAME built a sports center for the Diocese of Same for students at local schools, aimed at promoting the physical and psychological development by providing a safe and well-equipped space for sports and recreational activities.
In 2025, basketball, volleyball, and netball courts, as well as a football field, were completed. These spaces have become a focal point for the community, promoting values of inclusion, collaboration, and well-being, also hosting local sporting events and competitions.
In 2026, the project continues with interventions focused on the protection and stability of the area: soil retention works and the installation of drainage systems are underway to ensure proper water runoff during the rainy season.
