Diocese of Same – Mama Kevina Hope Centre

Fondazione SAME supports the Diocese of Same in favor of Mama Kevina Hope Centre, an important point of reference for approximately 600 children from rural villages in the Same and Mwanga districts, who face various forms of disability.

Assistance has included:

– construction of a therapeutic gym

– renovation of the laundry room and bathrooms

– purchase of physical therapy equipment and mobility aids for the children

– purchase of furniture for the dormitories

– purchase of sewing machines to launch tailoring courses

In 2026, a specialized rehabilitation support program was initiated, aimed at evaluating the Centre’s activities, therapeutic practices, and available equipment, as well as providing training and guidance for local staff.
