The contribution from Fondazione SAME has enabled the creation and fitting out of biosafety facilities, as well as the installation of the scientific equipment required for the research carried out by the team led by Prof. Guidotti on the identification of new antiviral drugs (SARS-CoV-2) and the prevention of viral hepatitis infections.
Lifetime Achievement Award, assigned by the HBV International Meeting in Kobe, Japan, to Prof. Luca Guidotti for his fundamental discoveries in the field of hepatitis B pathogenesis and antiviral development.
