Diocese of Same – Trees for Same

Fondazione SAME supports the Diocese of Same in the “Trees for Same” project, dedicated to planting fruit and timber trees for distribution in rural areas.

The initiative promotes the protection and enhancement of forest resources, encouraging sustainable and balanced forest management.

Through specific training programs dedicated to local people, the project supports farming communities in developing sustainable activities that yield both environmental and economic benefits.

A key component is the introduction of species that contribute to environmental diversification and food availability, improving the local diet.

The nursery’s annual production is planned according to user demand, with accompanying training on plant management and care.
