La Quercia di Mamre ODV (Voluntary Organisation)

Fondazione SAME supports La Quercia di Mamre ODV, a soup kitchen in Treviglio serving people in need. With the help of around 80 volunteers, it provides a welcoming space and aims to offer a hot meal to anyone facing difficult circumstances.

Beyond covering part of the meal costs, Fondazione SAME has helped to strengthen the kitchen’s infrastructure. This support enabled the installation of photovoltaic systems to improve energy efficiency, the purchase of new appliances to enhance service, and the construction of an outdoor canopy.

In 2025, the kitchen served 134,834 meals and distributed 18,876 weekly food parcels to 121 families.

La Quercia di Mamre also works closely with 13 associations and community groups, providing them mainly with fresh products, which is then shared with other families and community members.
